This is an especially precious creation—an enfleurage crafted entirely by hand using traditional, time-intensive methods. Enfleurage is one of the oldest techniques in perfumery: fresh blossoms are gathered at their peak and gently pressed into fat (traditionally animal fat is used but I used coconut oil) so their aroma can slowly infuse over time. Each batch requires repeated replenishing of petals as they wilt, allowing the fragrance to build layer by layer. The result is a true embodiment of the flower itself—soft, complex, and alive.
For this limited release, I used coconut oil and a touch of beeswax as the carrier base, creating a silky, feather-light balm that melts effortlessly into the skin. The scent is intimate and botanical, capturing the nuance of real jasmine rather than a synthetic interpretation.
Each balm is packaged in a sleek 5g black UV glass jar to protect the delicate aromatics and preserve the integrity of the botanicals within.
Enfleurage of this kind typically sells for at least three times what I’m charging—its rarity and labor make it one of the most expensive forms of perfumery. But this batch was a true labor of love, and something I wanted to share before I officially close my business. Only 15 jars are available, and once they’re gone, that’s the end of this offering.
